UK International Panthic Dal: Despite millions of Sikhs being on tenterhooks over the prospect of Human Rights Violator Jagdish Tytler being allowed into the UK to attend the Olympics, India continues to play with the emotions and sentiments of the Sikhs by threatening to push for entry of Jagdish Tytler into the UK. If the plea of the Sikhs to the UK Olympic Organising Bodies and MPs to prevent Jagdish Tytler’s entry into the UK is unsuccessful then Sikhs will have to consider their next course of action very carefully. The effects of any resulting protests by the Sikhs at any Olympic events could portray Sikhs in a very negative light in the media. As the Olympics are viewed by all as a platform for all the nations of the world to come together and a display of the best in human spirit and character, any groups seen to be against the Olympics are always viewed as anti-peace separatists, despite their cause being just one. The question on whether the Sikhs will play into the hands of the Indian Government and protest at the Olympic events, should Jagdish Tytler enter the UK, is yet to be answered.
