Chandigarh, 20 March. In a joint press release the leaders of International Panthic Dal UK, Bhai Ragbir Singh and Bhai Balbir Singh Randhawa, said that all Sikhs residing around the world and sympathisers of the Khalsa Panth wish to see Punjab become a vibrant and lively place in which all residents feel at peace and content. They added that Sikhs around the world want to save the youth of Punjab and want to prevent a return to the long period of dark days in the Punjab when every Punjabi residing in every village and town had to endured severe torment and in particular the mothers and fathers of those Sikh families whose sons were callously tortured to death by the Police in front of their very eyes or needlessly throw into jail until this day, destroying their lives completely.
They said that opposite to this, Sikhs around the world wish that the Sikh Religion can blossom and be recognised in the world. Bhai Ragbir Singh Ji said, “that it was absolutely horrifying how due to the personal shortcomings and weaknesses of the leaders currently appointed at the Sri Akal Takht Sahib the sovereignty and supremacy of the Sri Akal Takht Sahib had been severely undermined and that as a result of their actions every Sikh heart is in shreds. However, the most unfortunate situation of all was that the Punjab Administration has failed to arrest the despicable elements within the Punjab who had disrespected and desecrated Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, the eternal Guru of the Sikhs”.
Others present at the press release included, Bhia Jasbir Singh Ji, former Jathedar of the Sri Akal Takht Sahib and founder of International Panthic Dal, Baba Sukhchain Singh, Balbir Singh Sohal, Bhai Amolakh Singh, Bhai Parmjit Singh Daddi, Jagir Singh, Gurpreet Singh Mansa, Jagir Singh Hamdard, Baba Charanjit Singh, Jathedar Swaranjit Singh of Tarna Dal and Sukvinder Singh Agwaan.
