International Panthic Dal welcomes the Shaheedi Memorial to be constructed at Sri Darbar Sahib Complex starting 20 May

UK: International Panthic Dal welcomes the news on the construction of the Shaheedi Memorial of Sikh Martyrs who were killed by the Indian Government in June 1984. The construction of the memorial will be headed by the Chief of Damdami Taksal Sant Baba Harnam Singh Ji Khalsa and supported by other GurSikhs including Singh Sahib Bhai Jasvir Singh Ji Khalsa (Sabka Jathedar Sri Akal Takht Sahib and founder of International Panthic Dal).

The work on erecting a memorial to Operation Bluestar would commence on May 20, a few days ahead of the 28th anniversary the “Genocide Day” on June 6. The executive committee of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak
Committee (SGPC) met at Anandpur Sahib on Thursday and cleared the construction of memorial is to be headed by Damdami Taksal.
