A senior lawyer has issued a legal notice to actor and producer Ajay Devgan for showing Sikhs in bad light in his upcoming movie ‘Son of Sardar’.
Navkiran Singh, who practises in Punjab and Haryana high court, has sought deletion of what he alleged to be derogatory comments on Sikhs in the movie. The comments have been circulated through YouTube, the notice says.
The lawyer threatened legal action against him and others involved in the film production if such ‘derogatory’ dialogues and jokes on Sikhs were not deleted in seven days.
