Ludhiana: The Shiromani Akali Dal has on Sunday finally released its manifesto for the upcoming Assembly elections, scheduled to be held on January 30.
Development remains the key focus area, with the party promising to make Punjab power-surplus in a year and making Malwa the textile hub.
The manifesto interestingly promises a laptop for all class XI and XII students. Party president and Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal released the manifesto at Ludhiana and said the party in coalition with the BJP is more than hopeful of returning to power.

- 5 Marla plot for residential plots in villages for all landless poor Rs 10,000 to budding sports person per district pod cabs for Amritsar.
