Sikhs Seek US to Place Hindu Group on Terror List

Sikh activists in the US announced they filed a lawsuit this past Wednesday in the New York federal courts which demands that the United States place the Hindu Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) group on their list of terror organizations. US Secretary of State John Kerry has been called upon to respond to the suit within 60 days, reports AFP.

The 26-page complaint claimed that the RSS group was “similar to Nigeria’s Boko Haram”, and was the ideological mentor of India’s ruling party’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and was responsible for multiple incidents acts of violence.
