LAHORE: The Punjab government has launched various programmes with the aim of creating job opportunities fort the skillful youth, said Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif while talking to a youth delegation on Saturday.
Nawaz said that providing job opportunities was an attempt by the PML-N to make the youth independent and capable of standing on their feet. He said that programmes like distribution of loan on soft terms, promotion of technical education, distribution of laptops to the talented students and the Yellow Cab Scheme were being implemented to empower the youth.
He advised the youth to benefit from these programmes and play their due role for the development of the country by making hard work their motto. Talking on the occasion, Shahbaz said that the Punjab government was implementing a comprehensive programme for elimination of poverty and unemployment from the province. staff report
