UK 12-08-2012- International Panthic Dal were invited speakers at Singh Sabha Gurdwara Bradford. Spokesman for I.P.D Bhai Raghbir Singh informed the Sangat of updates surrounding the June 1984 Memorial after receiving latest information from Punjab via Sant Samaj who are leading the Kar Sewa and from Former Akal Takht Jathedar Singh Sahib Bhai Jasvir Singh.
Bhai Raghbir Singh also touched upon the controversial writings of a new book written by veteran journalist Kuldip Nayar, and then paid tribute to those who lost their lives and those injured at the Oak Tree, Milwaukee Wisconsin Gurdwara USA.
International Co-ordinater for I.P.D Bhai Paramjit Singh familiarised the Sangat with the Gurmat Camps being held in the villages of Punjab by Damdami Taksal in conjunction with I.P.D. In reference to the June 1984 Memorial, Bhai Paramjit Singh also gave examples in Sikh History of Gurdwaras being built in tribute to anyone who gave the ultimate sacrifice for the Sikh faith including Gurdwara Sis Ganj in Delhi, Gurdwara Dehra Sahib Lahore, Gurdwara Qatalgarh Sahib (Chamkaur Sahib) and Gurdwara Fatehgarh Sahib (Sirhind).
I.P.D worker Gurjit Singh was the final speaker who gave a clearer understanding of Punjab politics, a way forward and possible solutions for the Sikh nation.
